Art and the Sea have always been Danielle’s passions. Her desire to paint started at a very young age and much of her free time was spent exploring nature and the Maritimes.
In 1998, the Quebec City native followed her life long dream of living a tropical lifestyle and relocated to South Florida. Living in the yacht capital of the world “Fort Lauderdale” landed her in the yacht industry as crew where she eventually worked her way up the nautical ladder. She has been applying her creative skills as freelance yacht chef for the rich and famous for the past 15 yrs. While Danielle enjoys the creativity of cooking, it’s travel and painting that really floats her boat.
Danielle's work is inspired by her travel photos. she paints anytime she has between styling gourmet food on mega yachts. Her style is representational and impressionistic with an incredible eye for detail. However, she excels in stylized contemporary creations. Notably, her mesmerizing water reflections, vintage plaster marine art and mosaic paintings.
Danielle’s art has appeared in many magazines; Dockwalk, Tempus Jets and Florida Hone & Decor and featured on the cover of Jupiter, Hobe Sound, Tequesta and the 2016, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
